Dr. Jordan Campbell
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon • Co-Founder, Tänder
Dr. Jordan Campbell grew up in Utah in an active, tight-knit family, where sports, the outdoors, and a deep culture of service were constants. Before dental school, he spent two years serving a church mission in Sweden — an experience that quietly planted the seed for the name he'd give his future practice. In Swedish, the word for teeth is tänder.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology (Cum Laude) from Weber State University, then attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class in 2017. From there, he completed a one-year OMS internship at the University of Iowa, followed by a rigorous four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
His residency training at Iowa was comprehensive: anesthesia, trauma surgery, orthognathic surgery, TMJ disorders, oral pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, and pre-prosthetic surgery. It was there that he crossed paths with Dr. Forrest Pratt, the surgeon who would become his co-founder.
Dr. Campbell has spent his entire career in Arizona and is proud to call it home. The communities he serves across the Greater Phoenix area aren't just markets to him — they're neighbors.
“When the time came to name our practice, there was only one word that made sense. Tänder — Swedish for teeth. It's where this all started, in a way.”

Dr. Campbell and his wife Katelyn have three boys — Carson, Brooks, and Liam — and most of his free time orbits around them: cheering from the sidelines, cooking something ambitious on the smoker, or heading outdoors for a hike or a hunt. He's the kind of surgeon who takes the same care in a slow-smoked brisket as he does in a complex implant case — precision, patience, and the satisfaction of a good outcome.
