Dr. Forrest Pratt
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon • Co-Founder, Tänder
Dr. Forrest Pratt has called the Phoenix area home his entire life. He grew up in Mesa, attended Red Mountain High School, and was a three-sport athlete just as active outside school as in it — involved in church, Boy Scouts, and hands-on construction work.
The direction his life would take crystallized in high school, when he was introduced to oral surgery through his best friend's father. While studying Biological Sciences at Arizona State University, he turned that introduction into a job, working as a surgical assistant while finishing his degree.
Dr. Pratt went on to the Arizona School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class, then matched into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Iowa — completing it in 2021 with extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, orthognathic surgery, and the full scope of OMS procedures. It was there he met Dr. Jordan Campbell, his future co-founder.
Dr. Pratt has always worked best with his hands — once on a construction site, now in precision implant placement and jaw reconstruction. His commitment to service runs deep: he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and has completed multiple dental mission trips to Mexico and Central America.
“After day one of working as an assistant, I knew I wanted to become an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.”

Dr. Pratt is a hands-on person in every area of his life. When he's not in surgery, he channels that energy into woodworking, cycling, weightlifting, hiking, snowboarding, and dirt biking. He has four children, and family time is non-negotiable — from movie nights at home to weekend adventures across the Southwest. Now back in Arizona after his residency years in Iowa, he's glad to be home, closer to the mountains, the desert, and the communities he has always been part of.
